Boeing delivers last 747 jumbo jet

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb 1 — Boeing said that the company is holding a ceremony on Tuesday to say goodbye to its 747 jumbo jets at its factory in Everett, Washington state, in northwestern US.

End of the jumbo: British Airways retires 747 fleet early on coronavirus woes

LONDON/BENGALURU, July 17 — British Airways, the world's largest operator of Boeing 747s, will retire its entire jumbo jet fleet with immediate effect after the novel coronavirus pandemic sent air travel into freefall.
